"I died that day"/ The sad story of the new resident of 'Big Brother VIP Kosovo'

Elijona Binakaj is the newest resident to join the fourth edition of Big Brother VIP Kosova, bringing with her not only the emotions of a new entry, but also a deep and very painful life story. The model originally from Kosovo, raised in Germany, has gone through a tragedy that has marked her forever, which she shared with the public in an interview for RTV Dukagjini some time ago.

In that interview, Elijona revealed that in 2021 she had experienced the worst accident of her life – a road accident that took the lives of her mother and sister, while she and her brother survived. On the way to Kosovo, in the territory of Croatia, the vehicle they were traveling in was involved in a fatal accident that turned their entire lives upside down.

"We had an accident in 2021. It was the worst thing that ever happened to me. It changed my life, from one moment to the next," confessed Elijona, who could barely hold back tears as she recalled that terrible day.

She added that the loss was doubly severe: "We were on our way to Kosovo, the accident happened in Croatia. I have unfortunately lost my sister and mother."

As a girl only 14 years old at the time, the weight of pain and responsibility was extraordinary: “At first it was very heavy, because you always feel the absence of your mother. I felt compelled to protect my brother. It was very difficult… My life changed in two minutes. I was never the same again. I died the moment the accident happened.”

With her entry into Big Brother VIP Kosovo, many fans believe that Elijona can once again share this touching story with the general public, revealing not only the pain, but also the strength with which she has managed to move forward.
