Drita breaks away at the top, Balkan stops, Drenica wins in "Zahir Pajaziti"

Drita has scored a very important victory by overturning the result against Ferizaj, within the 28th week of the Albi Mall Super League, triumphing 2:1 at home. The guests took the lead first in the 18th minute, when Kushtrim Shabani scored after a cross that ended in the net, surprising goalkeeper Faton Maloku.

The home team's reaction was immediate. In the 36th minute, Vesel Limaj equalized with a superb goal from distance, restoring the balance. In the second half, Drita increased the pressure and in the 82nd minute achieved the winning goal, when Liridon Balaj proved accurate in front of goal for the final score 2:1.

With this victory, Drita strengthens its first position in the table, creating a five-point difference over the closest follower, Balkan. The latter has dropped two important points in the title race, after being held to a 1:1 draw at home by Gjilan. The team from Suhareka took the lead early, with Almir Kryeziu's goal in the 11th minute. The match was characterized by high tempo and chances from both teams, but without concretization until the last minutes. When everything seemed to end with Balkan's victory, Armend Thaqi scored in the 90th minute against his former team, securing an important point for the team led by Debatik Curri, which now climbs to third position with 43 points.

In the next match, Drenica took three very valuable points in the fight for survival, defeating Llapi with a minimum score of 1:0 at the "Zahir Pajaziti" stadium.

The team from Skenderaj was more demanding throughout the match and found the winning goal in the 70th minute, when Kreshnik Uka scored after a well-constructed move.

After this victory, Drenica reaches the quota of 32 points, the same as Llapi, making the race for survival in the Kosovo football elite even stronger.

Yesterday, Prishtina e Re triumphed over Malisheva, keeping their hopes for survival alive, while tomorrow the last match of this week takes place, where Prishtina and Dukagjini face off.
