Innovation for the World Cup, robot dogs in stadiums

Fans are eagerly awaiting the World Cup, which will be held in the US, Canada and Mexico, starting on June 11, 2026. Supporters of the national teams should be careful, as the Municipal Administration of Guadalupe has decided to use robotic dogs to increase vigilance.
These robotic dogs, called the K9-X division, will serve as extra eyes on the ground for authorities in Nuevo Leon. Equipped with camera lenses and microchips, they will assess risks before potentially dangerous situations arise.
Serving as an initial line of defense, they will provide officers with a preview of any potential threats around them. Hector Garcia, the mayor of Guadalupe, proudly presented four examples of these innovative creations to officers, city officials and the Secretary of Public Security, Alfredo Fabela.
