The famous ex-footballer is fired from his job on the day of his mother's funeral

The well-known ex-Romanian striker, Adrian Mutu, has been dismissed from the position of coach at Neftchi Baku Azeri. Mutu was sacked a week before the end of the season in Azerbaijan, but what is even more impressive is the time the club chose to communicate the decision.
Neftchi announced Mutu's dismissal on Sunday, December 24, the day the Romanian was in his homeland, as his mother's funeral was being held.
This gesture is not at all worthy of the Azeri club, which in any situation, could have waited at least one more day to communicate the decision to dismiss Mutu, who will be replaced by the Montenegrin Miodrag Bojovic.
" Today we decided to terminate the contract with the Romanian Adrian Mutu. The Neftchi club thanks Mutu for his cooperation and wishes him success, as well as expresses its condolences for the death of his mother" , it is stated, among other things, in the announcement of Neftchi Baku.
Adrian Mutu has had a glorious career as a footballer, wearing the jerseys of clubs such as Inter, Juventus, Chelsea, Verona, Parma, etc., while as a coach he has mainly coached in Romania.
