Neuer: I had three operations for cancer

The goalkeeper of Bayern and Germany, Manuel Neuer, has spoken about the health problems he had to endure.

" I had facial skin cancer, which led to three surgeries. That is why we pay special attention to sun protection. I train all the time outside and I also like to spend my free time in nature," said Neuer after the launch of a new skin care product. The words of the German footballer are directed by the Goal.com portal.

In the 2022/2023 season, Manuel Neuer played 13 matches in which he conceded 11 goals. The 36-year-old goalkeeper has been playing for Bayern since the summer of 2011.
