Sako’s attempt to defuse the situation by blaming the “LED light” for the misunderstanding came too late. Her attempt to cover up the situation with a joke about the “LED” clearly shows a lack of sensitivity. Instead of calming the moment and apologizing, she defused it with excuses, which only made the situation worse.
