Rumors about Oliseh's departure, Bayern takes a stand

There has been speculation for some time that Michael Oliseh could soon leave Bayern Munich. However, president Herbert Hainer believes the Bavarians are in a favourable position to keep the Frenchman.

"Bayern is a club that doesn't need to sell players. We make our decisions from a position of strength. Michael Oliseh has a contract with us until 2029. I hope and wish that at some point he will extend it," Hainer declared.

Bayern will respond appropriately to any possible attempt to sign Oliseh. "Whether it's Real Madrid or any other club that is interested in him, we know how to defend ourselves well. Bayern has a lot to offer," said the club president.

Rumors of a transfer for Oliseh to Madrid circulated throughout the summer.
