The administrator of a construction company who had been wanted since December of last year has been arrested by the Berat police.
This concerns the administrator of the construction firm in which citizen GS was employed, without insurance, and who lost his life on December 17, during the reconstruction of a building in the castle area.
Citizen GS lost his life after being crushed by a massive rock that broke away from the castle area.
The investor of the facility and the technical director of the construction firm were previously arrested in the case.
The 56-year-old, administrator of the construction firm contracted for the reconstruction of the facility, was declared wanted after the Berat Court assigned him the security measure "Arrest in prison" for the criminal offenses "Violation of safety rules at work", "Illegal employment" and "Non-payment of taxes and duties".

As a result of the checks for the detention and prosecution of all citizens declared wanted for the event that occurred on 17.12.2024, in the "13 shtatori" neighborhood, where citizen GS lost his life, during the work on the reconstruction of a building, because he was crushed by a massive stone that broke away from the castle area, the services of the Berat Police Commissariat located, arrested and handcuffed citizen Ç. H. 56 years old, resident of Berat.

The procedural materials were referred to the Berat Prosecutor's Office for further action.
