Albanian man suspected of killing his partner in Germany turns himself in

Following the violent death of a 32-year-old woman in Oberhausen, her 47-year-old Kosovo Albanian partner has been arrested and will appear in court in Duisburg.

The husband, a Kosovar citizen, surrendered on Sunday evening at a police station in Kehl, Baden-Württemberg, after a search by authorities.

The woman was found dead in her home on Friday evening, after an attempt by social service workers to contact her, who had gone to the apartment, but she had not opened the door. The police, who were later notified, found the body.

The autopsy confirmed that the death was violent, while the police announced that the woman died as a result of violence.

Details of the incident and the cause of the crime have not yet been made public, as investigations are ongoing.

The woman's partner was subsequently arrested and will appear before a judge at the Duisburg District Court on April 14. The case has sparked widespread outrage and anger in the country, raising suspicions about the woman's partner, who had been wanted since Saturday. Investigations are ongoing to find out more about the incident and the circumstances leading up to the tragedy.
