Journalist Poli Hoxha: 50% of voters do not want either Rama or Berisha, in

Journalist Poli Hoxha, invited to Frontline, commented on the latest polls on political parties.

He said that the main reason the Socialists defeated the right in Shkodra with the Municipality was the division of the DP and dissatisfaction with Berisha.

He considered it absurd that in polls over 50% of citizens do not like Rama and Berisha, but after the elections one of them emerges the winner because these citizens still vote for them, and this goes beyond paradox.

"Shkodra is known to be historically right-wing, not with the DP, but anti-communist, for many historical factors. It is a right-wing city and whatever happens it remains so. But this latest change also appears to be revenge against Sali Berisha more. But Rama's promises have also had an impact by taking over the Municipality, but the people of Shkodra in the general elections look at the individual. Shkodra has suffered a lot, with a capture of the city, by criminal gangs, with fines and mergers with the state. A city where there is a war of fines, where merchants pay for the preservation of business by these groups and the government picks up the bill, despite the fact that the Municipality is working there for the sake of truth. The people of Shkodra have voting for the DP in their DNA.

"The absurdity and worse than the paradox is the fact that Berisha and Rama come out over 50% dissatisfied and after this survey they come out the winner. Only an anthropologist with staff can explain this, because these same dissatisfied people, after going to vote, give their votes to these same two people who do not trust them ," said Hoxha.
