New details have been revealed from the serious event that shocked Italy, where a young Albanian man ended his life by drowning at sea.

Meanwhile, a photo has been published of the young Albanian Riccardo Merkuri, who ended his life by jumping into the port of Civitanova Marche, after attacking his mother with punches in the face on the day of his birth.

After raping his mother, the 20-year-old left home in his car and headed towards Civitanova Marche.

From that moment on, starting on Friday evening, he disappeared without a trace.

Authorities found the young man's car near the port, while the young Albanian ended his life by jumping into the sea.

Today he was found by professional divers and his body was then taken to the city morgue.

The young man's family, of Albanian origin who has lived in Italy for more than twenty years, is well-known in Pollenza.

The full reasons that led the young man to commit the serious act are still unknown, while his mother, Albana Kastriot, is in serious condition in hospital.
