Presidential election, Kurti begins meetings with political party leaders

Albin Kurti has begun meetings with the leaders of political parties, where the focus has been on the presidential election, for which, according to the constitutional deadlines, only 10 days remain.

During Sunday, Kurti met with the leader of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) and Member of Parliament, Bedri Hamza.

The focus of the discussions was on political developments in the country and the need to open a new chapter of communication and constructive dialogue between the government and the opposition, in order to strengthen democratic pluralism.

The parties emphasized that cooperation is necessary, given that at least two-thirds of the votes of the members of the Assembly are required to elect the head of state.

Meanwhile, it has been announced that Prime Minister Kurti will hold a meeting tomorrow with the leader of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), Lumir Abdixhiku, as part of political consultations.
