Has Lawyer Altin Goxhaj Been Kidnapped? Police React: He Offended Us, We Accompanied Him to the Police Station

Environmentalist and engineer Sazan Guri stated a few minutes ago that lawyer Altin Goxhaj was arrested by people without uniforms, but introduced as police officers.

"Terrible news! They say that the lawyer and strong and critical voice of the government Altin Goxhaj has been arrested by a group in the name of the police, but without a police uniform, and no one from the police station says a word to you?!!?"  writes Sazan Guri.

Even people close to lawyer Altin Goxhaj stated that they have suspicions that he was kidnapped by people posing as police officers.

Meanwhile, the Police have reacted to these news and explain that they have escorted Altin Goxhaj to the premises of Police Station No. 2 after he insulted and opposed the officers.

The police announce that at the conclusion of the first procedural actions, Goxhaj was prosecuted for the criminal offense of "Disobedience to the order of a public order police officer".

"On 16.04.2026, at around 20:00, the General Patrol of Police Commissariat No. 2, patrolling on "Kavajës" street, stopped to take measures against drivers of vehicles parked in the dedicated lane.

While the police officers were on duty, a taxi was parked behind the police car.

Police officers approached and asked the driver of the vehicle to continue driving, but from the taxi, driven by citizen AB, 26 years old, citizen AG, 56 years old (lawyer), got out, who began to insult and, together with the driver of the vehicle, did not obey the order of the police officers who were performing their duty, to continue driving.

Under these conditions, the Police officers escorted citizen AG to the premises of Police Station No. 2, who continued to oppose the Police officers during the escort.

At the end of the first procedural actions, citizen AG was prosecuted for the criminal offense of "Disobedience to the order of a public order police officer." - the police announced.
