A 23-year-old man was arrested by Bajram Curri police after being found drunk and with a gun in his car.
The Blues report that verifications show that the young man had previously fired a firearm into the air.
"The structures of the Tropoja Police Commissariat, in continuation of their work to crack down on criminal activity in the field of illegal possession of weapons, have cracked down on a case of this activity in the town of Bajram Curri. For this case, the citizen was arrested:
-A. Gj., 23 years old, resident of Bajram Curri.
This citizen was caught red-handed by the Police services in the city of Bajram Curri, driving a "Benz" type vehicle, where during the search, 1 firearm, a pistol, with combat ammunition, was found.
After conducting an alcohol test, the 23-year-old was found to be intoxicated.
The investigation suspects that citizen A. Gj. shot into the air with a firearm he possessed without a permit.
"The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office for further action," the announcement states.
