The former adviser of the royal family, Murat Basha, revealed details of Prince Leka's wealth in Repolitix on Report TV. Basha said that a building is being built behind the Dajti hotel. Basha said that they also have real estate.

He points out that Prince Leka is currently living in a rented house and that after the end of the divorce process he will move to the Royal Palace. As for Elia Zaharia and her daughter, who still live in the Royal Palace, they will then move to another house, which according to Basha was given to them by the Prince.
"He is in his own house, he has let his ex-wife live in his house and he is living on rent until the divorce is over, he is an extraordinary boy. He is an orphan, he found support in his wife and a family. He lives outside the royal court, until the day when he is elected and she settles in another apartment, which he gave her together with a business", said Basha.
Regarding the divorce process and the property, Leka's lawyer, Arani Roshi, indicated that real estate, including the Royal Palace, is not included in the list of assets that are shared between the couple. But the lawyer points out that Prince Leka has agreed to transfer a considerable fortune to Elias and his daughter to provide them with a comfortable living.
"There are two agreements, they were made with a notarial deed. The first agreement is for the dissolution of the marriage, which has been signed and filed with the Court. It will be subject to evaluation by the court and in the end it will decide to approve it by dissolving the marriage legally. The court guarantees the rights of the child, looks at whether the agreement guarantees these rights.
The second agreement is a contract, where Prince Leka gives a considerable fortune to Elias and his daughter to ensure a comfortable living. I do not think that the reason and conflict is wealth. In all the agreements she was assisted by experts in the law and she understood and was aware of the consequences. Inherited property is not included in the regime that is divided between spouses. It was the will to transfer these assets to his daughter and ex-wife", said the lawyer for Repolitix.
Currently, Prince Leka lives in a rented house, while Eliza Zaharia and her 3-year-old daughter live in the Royal Palace. The prince makes constant visits to meet the girl, while the lawyer emphasizes that after the divorce, Prince Leka will return to the Royal Palace.
