A super theft occurred last September in Greece, where a gang of suspected Albanian robbers managed to steal currency and gold worth at least over 1.5 million euros.
The media in the neighboring country has recently published footage from this spectacular robbery , worthy of police films, while the accident resulting in the death of one of the group members, an Albanian citizen, became the reason for this sensational robbery to be revealed.
There are security camera footage of gang members entering a house in Nea Erythraia and leaving "laden" with thousands of bags filled with thousands of euros, gold bars and British pounds.

What catches the eye is the bag that one of them is carrying. At first, he carries it loosely on his back, and then he holds it tightly in his hand, with its swaying that also proves the heavy weight of the gold bars.
The theft occurred at the beginning of last September, while the investigation of the case involved a fatal traffic accident that occurred in Theologos of Fthiotida, with the victim being a young man from Albania, also suspected of being involved in the robbery. The accident is thought to have occurred during an escape attempt. And this after the authorities found a backpack with thousands of euros in the car, while from the phone of the 35-year-old of Albanian origin, they determined that he was in the area on the day of the robbery.
At the same time, with the lifting of telephone secrecy, information emerged about three other people for whom there was an arrest warrant, involved in this crime, Greek media reports.
The three people were later arrested in Piraeus and Beoti, while the searches found 87 thousand euros, 7 mobile phones, a metal detector, a precision electronic scale, as well as clothes used in the robbery.
