A 25-year-old man has been arrested in Malësia e Madhe, after being wanted for cultivating narcotic plants in collaboration with his family members.

The arrested person is the citizen with the initials G.Sh, against whom the Court had imposed the security measure "prison arrest" for the criminal offense of "cultivation of narcotic plants", committed in collaboration.

According to investigations, he is suspected of cultivating 1,275 narcotic plants together with his family members on the land near their home, in the village of Aliaj.

"Specialists from the Crime Investigation Section of the Malësi e Madhe Police Commissariat detained citizen G. Sh., 25 years old, after the Shkodra Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction has assigned him the security measure "Arrest in prison", for the criminal offense "Cultivation of narcotic plants", committed in collaboration.

From the investigations carried out, it is suspected that this citizen, in collaboration with his family, cultivated 1275 narcotic plants on the land near their residence, in the village of Aliaj, which were found and destroyed by the Police services on 04.09.2025. ", said the police.
