All national roads are open according to the data of the National Civil Protection Agency, while only some roads in the deep mountainous areas are difficult to navigate.

The working groups, from the local civil emergencies in coordination with the National Agency of Civil Protection, the State Police forces, the Road Authority, OSHEE have followed the situation created during yesterday and continue to be on the ground to avoid all the problems created as a result of heavy snowfall in some areas in the north of the country and rain in the rest of the territory.
In the district of Kukës, the thickness of the snow in the deep mountain areas exceeded 20 cm, but the national roads were passable with chains.
The contracting entities have been working around the clock to clean, salt and keep the roads that have a contract functional.
Chains are recommended on some roads in deep areas. Electricity supply is normal throughout the territory of Kukës District, except for the administrative units of Shishtavec, Topojan, Zapod, Malzi, Kolsh, Surroj, Ujmisht, Bushtricë, Grykë-Çajë, Kalis and Arren, Kukës municipality; Golaj and Gjinaj administrative units, Has municipality; administrative units Tropoja e Vjetër, Bytyç and Llugaj, Tropoja municipality.
In the region of Shkodra, the snowfall in the mountainous areas of the municipality of Shkodra, Malësi e Madhe and Fushë-Arrëz have made it difficult to pass on some roads and with chains due to the presence of snow and frost.
The Kir-Shosh axes are open in Malin e Shoshi, where there was a thickness of snow of about 30 cm. Also, the Bogë-Theth road axis was quickly opened, where the snow removal vehicles continued to work.
In the district of Dibra, the amount of snowfall was greater. After tireless work by the field forces, it has been possible to unblock the Arbri road, the bypass-Qafë Murrizë, which was blocked yesterday due to heavy snowfall.
Also passable are the Peshkopi-Maqellare-Bulqizë road axes; Bulqizë – Vašë-Klos Bridge; Klos-Burrel-Ulez.
The field groups are working in some axes of the deep areas of the district, for the return to normality of the roads, but also of electricity, but due to the presence of ice, the intervention becomes more difficult.
In the district of Lezha, there was rain with low to medium intensity as well as strong wind up to 35 km/h. At heights above 500 m, snowfall has fallen, where the thickness has reached up to 10 cm in the Fan administrative unit, Mirditë municipality. The amount of rainfall was 40 mm.
The road axes were passable and without problems. The groups are continuing to monitor the situation in those mainly mountainous areas for the restoration of electricity and the cleaning of road axes.
In the district of Durrës, in the administrative unit of Cudhi, there was snow and strong wind, but it was intervened with snow removal tools.
The Krujë-Qafeshtame road axis is passable, but all drivers must follow the rules for traffic in snowy weather.
All road axes in the municipality of Durrës, Shijak and the plain part of the municipality of Krujë were passable without any problem.
There has also been periodic rain in the district of Elbasan. This has caused the Zaranika Stream to swell, but without danger of exiting the bed.
On the road axes Elbasan-Qafë Thane, Gramsh-Moglicë, Elbasan-Gjinar, Librazhd-Steblevë, there was presence of inerts that were constantly cleaned by the contracting companies.
There has been no disruption of vehicle traffic in the entire district.
In the district of Korça, the snowfall started in the hours of yesterday evening, but then their intensity has decreased. The rains are also accompanied by strong winds. The thickness of the snow has reached 5-10 cm.
There has been increased movement of vehicles on the Boboshtica-Dardhe tourist road, where the attention of the Center-East Directorate, the relevant entity and police structures has been focused.
Due to the strong wind, there were power outages in the municipality of Pogradec, Devoll and Maliq, but OSHEE's work groups are on the ground to restore connections.
No problems from weather conditions have been reported from all other regions of the country. The Ministry of Defense, the Civil Defense Agency call on citizens to limit movement in areas where there is ice and to circulate equipped with winter tires and chains, according to the authorities' instructions.
