
Mother and son from Germany lose their way while exploring "Pigeon Cave", police come to their aid after several hours of searching

Two tourists from Germany (mother and son) got lost today in a place called 'Pigeon's Cave' near Tirana.
While exploring nature near the capital, the tourists could not find their way out of the “Pigeon Cave.” After being notified, police forces arrived at the scene and after several hours of searching, they were able to find the tourists from Germany in good health.
Their discovery was made possible by the services of Commissariat No. 1 and the Alpine Units of the National Security Force.
"The services of Police Commissariat No. 1 come to the aid of 2 German tourists who lost their way while exploring nature, in a place called "Pigeon's Cave".
After receiving the notification that in the place called "Pigeon's Cave", two German tourists (mother and son) had lost their way, while exploring in nature, the services of Police Commissariat No. 1 in cooperation with the Alpine Unit of the National Security Force of Tirana, immediately organized the work to come to their aid.
After several hours of searching, it was possible to locate and find the tourists, in good health.
German tourists have thanked the Police and support services for the immediate response and professionalism shown.
"The Tirana Police remains maximally engaged in serving tourists, and invites them to call the toll-free number 112 for any problems they may encounter," the police statement says.
