Likewise, giving the phone to Geront himself, with the aim of withdrawing the company from the proceedings.
This is because their goal of withdrawal was not being achieved.
To calm the situation, he also said that they allowed him to speak to his wife, whom he assured that everything was fine.

I spoke to him and said: 'You don't have to worry, but talk to the administrator, Mimi.'
But while he was handcuffed to the car and in the care of his two guards, he learned that the latter were from Elbasan.

There are suspicions that the group that took businessman Gerond Meçe hostage released him at around 16:20 on August 12, 2025, only after receiving confirmation of withdrawals deposited by the company in the KPP system .
Businessman Gerond Meçe himself linked this suspicion to the fact that from experience, the people who organized the kidnapping and the threat against him must have an authority or connection within the KPP, which has the ability and competence to verify it.
In this suspicion, he also mentioned the name of a member of the KPP, who according to him is connected to businessman Ermal Beqiri.
With which Gerond Meçe showed that there were constant conflicts in his field of operation.
But even though hours were passing, the group of hostage-takers had no intention of releasing the businessman.
Apparently, this was because they were waiting for a guarantee that his family would not file a police report.
Which, after making sure that didn't happen, they finally decide to let him go.

Ku makina u fut në drejtim të fshatit Shijon, ndërkohë që në këtë moment një nga personat në makinë foli në telefon me dikë, i cili i tha të ndryshojë itinerar dhe ta kthenin makinën në rrugën nacionale.
Dhe kështu ndodhi. Makina u kthye dhe mua më lanë 200 metra afër rrethrrotullimit që futesh për në autostradën Elbasan-Tiranë.
Ku në momentin që po më linin, shoferi më tha se: ‘Nuk dua probleme nga ty, nuk dua denoncime nga ty, në të kundërt do të vrasim ty, gruan, motrën, nënën, se babë nuk ke ti’.
Por edhe pse i premtuan që do i kthenin laptopin dhe sendet e tjera personale që ata ia mbajtën, kjo gjë nuk duket se ndodhi.
Ndërkohë që biznesmeni u la në mes të rrugës pa telefon dhe pa para në xhep.
Ku vetëm rastësia, bëri që ai të kthehej në banesë.
Dhe të fillonte të mendonte të gjithë atë që kishte ndodhur.
Si dhe kush mund të ishin personat që kishin urdhëruar dhe organizuar rrëmbimin dhe kërcënimin e tij.
“Pasi më zbritën në rrugë, ata më dhanë me vete vetëm mbajtësen e kartave të kreditit si dhe syzet e diellit.
Ndërsa sendet e tjera, çantën e shpinës me laptopin brenda, atë të dorës dhe telefonin, premtuan se do i sjellin te recepsioni i qendrës së biznesit ku unë kam zyrën, por këto sende nuk ia kanë sjellë ende dhe sot.
Pasi zbrita nga makina unë dola në rrugën nacionale, drejt rrethrrotullimit tjetër të Bradasheshit, ku ndodhet karburanti. Rastësisht, duke pritur për makina të rastit apo autobus, aty kalon një makinë e zyrës time, që kishte qenë për punë në Berat.
Gjatë rrugës nuk i tregova asgjë shoferit tonë për atë që kishte ndodhur. Ndërkohë me të mbërritur në Tiranë, u ktheva direkt në zyrën time të punës”, ka dëshmuar Gerond Meçe.
I pyetur mbi dyshimet që ai kishte lidhur mbi personat e mundshëm që mund të kishin gisht në rrëmbimin dhe më pas atë që ndodhi, qëllimin për tërheqjen nga tenderat në AKSHI, apo edhe ankimimet, biznesmeni Gerond Meçe, u ndal te një emër që sipas tij mund të ishte strumbullari i gjithë këtij skenari.
Ky emër ishte biznesmeni Ermal Beqiri i cili kishte lidhje të forta brenda AKSHI-t.
Por edhe mik i Ergys Agasit, ku siç do të shikohet në vazhdim, ata shikohen shpesh në shoqërinë e njëri-tjetrit.
Kjo bazuar edhe në filmimet që vetë Agasi ka ruajtuar.
Ndërkohë që ngjarja kishte alarmuar edhe vetë familjen, e cila kishte kuptuar se ai ishte marrë peng.

But he had returned with a negative answer, which further increased his suspicion that his brother had been kidnapped.
But upon returning to the office, after being released, businessman Gerond Meçe noticed that withdrawals had been made for more procedures than the hostage-takers had indicated in the Excel spreadsheet.
Where he learned that the administrator of his company Sh. K, after drafting the withdrawal documents, went to hand deliver them to the KPP (Public Prosecution Commission) and to the AKSHI.
But this method of hand delivery was not accepted by the KPP, as according to them it was not allowed as a procedure.
