Analyst Ben Andoni, invited to the "Studio24" show on News24 , commented on the latest political developments in the country, focusing on the role of the opposition, the Democratic Party's protests, and the public's expectations of the political class.

Andoni expressed surprise at the number of participants in the latest PD protest, but stressed that this is a consequence of the mobilization of a sensitive part of the democratic electorate. “I am surprised that the PD gathered so many people. They are playing with the sensitive part of the democratic community. For a long time, whenever maximum objectives are given, you have to walk this path,” he said.

According to the analyst, the DP has repeated the same political rhetoric several times, warning of the end of the Rama government without bringing concrete results. "It is the several times that the DP says 'today is Rama's last day' and nothing happens. Even a small escalation with Molotov cocktails was expected and this did not happen either. This shows that the DP is not innovative, neither in Parliament nor in protests," Andoni stressed.

He described the current political situation as worrying, comparing it to the poem “I saw my homeland naked”. According to him, there is also concern within the ranks of the socialists, who see individuals with a low intellectual level administering the country's finances. In this context, Andoni said that the DP must clearly show that it is different from the current government. “The ordinary Albanian wants normality. This is the big problem of the DP today,” he said.

The analyst added that, despite the scandals, Prime Minister Edi Rama managed to conclude his third term normally, while the fourth term, according to him, will be much more difficult. He assessed that the Democratic Party has completed its political mission, emphasizing that within it there are many contradictions and figures who claim protagonism.

Andoni also criticized the Socialist Party, saying that it has also completed its political mission. “The Socialist Party has long since ceased to represent the left-wing electorate, neither in economic policies nor in social philosophy,” he said.

Finally, the analyst also focused on the role of the judiciary, emphasizing that public expectations are high and that SPAK's actions are also influenced by international factors. According to Andoni, if the judiciary had a fully reformist approach, it would also review the large volume of citizens' files, while currently the attacks are perceived more as political, both against the SP and the DP.
