Carabinieri of the Anzio Company Operational Unit in the Brindisi area in Italy arrested a 25-year-old Albanian with a criminal record for drug trafficking.
The operation took place on a central street in the municipality of Ardea, where officers noticed the young man who, immediately after parking a car, was selling a dose of cocaine to the driver.
The buyer was a 58-year-old man from Rome, who had arrived in the area.
The Carabinieri stopped the seller and buyer, who seized the drugs and were then fined for personal use of narcotics.
A subsequent search of the suspect's person and vehicle led the carabinieri to find additional doses of cocaine and cannabis, as well as a precision scale. All the material found was seized.
The arrested person was then held at the Anzio Carabinieri Station for the subsequent judicial hearing.
Subsequently, the judicial authorities, in addition to confirming the arrest, ordered his deportation from Italy. The Carabinieri escorted him to the Brindisi Civil Procedure Center.
