Former contestant of "Për'puthen" arrested for advertising fake clothes on social networks

Tirana Police have arrested today the former competitor of "Për'puthen", who was selling products with fake logos in his store, for which no purchase receipts were available and no sales invoices were issued.

It is said that Hysen Ramaj, 29 years old, a resident of Tirana, has been arrested.

During the search of his shop on "Sulejman Delvina" street, police found various items of clothing, bags, glasses and watches with logos of international brands, suspected to be fake. From the verifications carried out, he did not have invoices on the origin of the goods.

It is also suspected that Ramaj did not issue tax coupons for the sale of products, with the aim of avoiding tax obligations.

Another entity was discovered, where products with false logos were sold, for which no purchase receipts were possessed and no sales invoices were issued.

The owner of the store on "Sulejman Delvina" street is arrested.

Specialists of the Economic and Financial Crimes Investigation Section, as a result of controls and verifications, with the aim of identifying entities that carry out their activities informally, avoiding tax obligations, finalized the operation codenamed "Etiketa", during which a shop on "Sulejman Delvina" street was discovered to be involved in this illegality.

Also, as part of the operation, the owner of the store, citizen HR, 29 years old, resident of Tirana, was arrested.

During the checks, various goods (clothing, bags, glasses and watches) with logos of international brands, suspected to be fake, were found in this entity.

The 29-year-old had no receipts on the origin of the goods.

It is also suspected that he did not issue coupons for their sale, with the aim of avoiding tax obligations.

The procedural materials were referred to the Tirana Prosecutor's Office for further action.
