Tensions in front of the SPAK building! Residents of Rrjoll protest, throw eggs at the building

Residents of Rrjoll are protesting today in front of the Special Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SPAK) for their property, claiming that it was stolen from them by former Cadastre director Fatmir Shpellzaj and that today the publisher and builder Bashkim Ulaj is building a luxury resort on that land.

They hold banners displaying property documents they own, posters stating that they believe in SPAK's justice, and they have thrown eggs at the prosecutor's office building.

For more than a month, residents have been demanding that the court resolve this conflict, while violent clashes have occurred in Rrjoll between Ulaj employees, police officers, and private guards from "Breçani Security" hired by the oligarch to guard the construction site.

The representative of the residents of Rrjoll, Prekë Molla, said yesterday that the 3rd report has been filed with SPAK for all the people involved in the theft of their property.
