Tirana/ He broke house arrest and stole from two apartments, 22-year-old arrested

The State Police has finalized the operation codenamed "Again" in Tirana, arresting a 22-year-old suspect for several criminal offenses.

According to the police, citizen KV, a resident of the Astir area, has violated the "house arrest" security measure and is suspected of committing thefts in two apartments in recent days.

During the operation, the services of Police Station No. 6 and the "Eagle" forces signaled the 22-year-old to stop the vehicle, but he did not obey the order and sped away. After a police pursuit, he was caught and detained.

Verifications revealed that he had previously been placed under house arrest for the criminal offense of theft.

Preliminary investigations indicate that he is suspected of having stolen sums of money from two apartments on April 22 and 23, 2026, while the police are working to document other cases in which he may be involved.
