Kilometer-long traffic, cars wait for hours to enter Elbasan

Heavy traffic was recorded on the Tirana-Elbasan highway this evening.

Hundreds of vehicles have been left in line from the tunnel exit to Bradashesh.

Traffic is heavy because many cars are heading to Elbasan on the occasion of Summer Day.

But this is not the first time such a phenomenon has occurred.

Every weekend the situation repeats itself, as citizens heading towards Elbasan and further southeast to relax on the weekend face heavy traffic and wait for hours.

Meanwhile, this junction has long been considered a concern by road experts.

They have requested an overpass that would allow for the unloading of traffic to avoid a problem that occurs every weekend.
