Tragedy in Greece/ 55-year-old Albanian dies after being hit by truck in Peloponnese

An Albanian citizen has lost his life in a road accident in the "Pyrgos Ilias" area in the Peloponnese, Greece.

The victim has been identified as Fatmir Dyrmishi, 55 years old.

According to Greek police, he was riding his bicycle at an intersection at the entrance to the city when he was hit by a truck, under circumstances that are still being investigated.

After the accident, he was rushed to the hospital, but could not survive his injuries.

His body has been sent to the morgue, while the truck driver has been escorted by police to clarify the circumstances of the incident.

According to reports, the 55-year-old lived alone in the Pirgos area, while his family is in Albania. Investigations into the accident are ongoing.
