In a statement to the media, Ivi Kaso announced that voting for the DP presidential elections will be postponed by one hour in major branches.
"The process is nearing completion in several small branches. There is a high number of voters. For the largest branches of Tirana that have a high number of voters, together with KOKOE, a decision has been made to close this process at 19:00. I take advantage of the opportunity to call on the democrats of the largest branches of Tirana and the branches of the largest regions who have requested that the process be extended until 19:00 to come out and exercise their right to vote," he said.
The process for the Democratic Party presidential race began at 08:00 and was announced to close at 18:00. However, as Ivi Kaso announced, this time has been postponed for several large branches and voting will close at 19:00.
He stressed that the number of voters was high. He also explained that for some small branches, the end time of voting will be as announced, starting at 18:00.
