Girls, 9 and 11, drowned on public beach, bodies pulled ashore by police and vacationers

Jonida Dajlani and Adelajda Misha, two girls aged 9 and 11 from Fushë-Kruja, drowned this Friday at the public beach of Tale in Lezha. They went into the sea to bathe and emerged lifeless.

It is unclear under what circumstances the two minor girls were left unaccompanied on the beach, until they entered the sea and were swept away by the waves.

Unfortunately, Jonida Dajlani and Adelajda Misha drowned in the depths and the Border Police services from the sea and those of the Lezha DVP from the land immediately went to the area, while vacationers also provided great help.

The bodies of two little girls, ages 9 and 11, were found a few meters from the shore and the Lezha Police services, in cooperation with vacationers, made it possible to find and bring them to shore.

The tragic event occurred at around 12:50 on Tale beach and the investigation team is at the scene and, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, continues to work to clarify the circumstances of the case.

Jonida Dajlani and Adelajda Misha were on an unmanaged public beach with no lifeguards. The bodies of the little girls from Fushë Kruja have been transported to the morgue of the Lezha Regional Hospital.
