Theft of 41 thousand euros, Durrës Court leaves Irish couple in prison

The Durrës Court has remanded in prison the Irish couple who stole 41 thousand euros in Durrës a few days ago.
Judge Suela Xhani has given "prison arrest" as a security measure for the husband and an alternative measure for the wife: to pay a bail of 5 thousand euros within five days.
If she pays this amount as a guarantee, the security measure for the wife will change to an obligation to appear twice a month before judicial police officers until the investigation is completed.
A few days ago, the Irish couple took 41 thousand euros from some children who had found this amount in a bag in neighborhood 13 of Durrës, telling the minors that the bag was theirs.
After taking the bag, the couple headed towards Montenegro. But when they realized they had been discovered by the police, they decided to hand over the large amount of euros to the Shkodra police.
