A business near Golem in Lushnje has fallen prey to thieves.
During the night, they broke into a slaughterhouse business and stole the safe, as well as taking one of the company's vans to transport it and remove it from the scene.
While leaving in a hurry, the "unwanted guests" made a mistake and drove off the road with the car they were carrying out the theft and fell into the drainage canal.
Police at the scene have conducted an examination and documented evidence that could lead to the finding and capture of the perpetrators.
Also, footage from security cameras at businesses in the area is being collected to find and clarify the dynamics of the incident, as well as to discover what vehicle the perpetrators used to commit the theft.
After the van they were driving fell into the canal at the exit of the village of Golem j Vogel towards the highway, the perpetrators drove away in another vehicle and, according to police sources, they exited onto the Lushnje-Rrogozhina highway./BW
