Gunshot wound in Berat revealed to be caused by overtaking by car

Gunshots were recorded in Berat shortly after midnight today, in which 37-year-old Fabjel Toska (Xhindi) was injured.
It is learned that the 37-year-old was traveling with a friend in a car when he was overtaken by a vehicle that had signaled with its lights to stop.
Toska gets out of the vehicle and goes to the driver's side window of the vehicle that overtook her, at which point she is wounded by him with a bullet in the stomach.
"Around 00:55, citizen FT (Xh), 37 years old, resident of Berat, was taken to the hospital for medical assistance, wounded by gunfire in still unclear circumstances, at the entrance to the city.
The 37-year-old is out of danger.
"An investigative group was immediately established and, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, intensive investigations continue to clarify the circumstances and secure evidence, with the aim of legally documenting the event, identifying and capturing the perpetrator(s)," the police announced.
