Afrim Qendro has dismissed Klesti Çela and Ervin Bixha from their duties. The latter held the position of advisor to the chief inspector of IKMT.
Elgert Bixha's brother was involved in the "Agasi" file.
According to News24 journalist Klodiana Lala, Meta was attacked by Klesti Çela, the director of the Environment who is Ergys Agas's brother-in-law, along with three other people. The incident is suspected to have come after a verbal clash that occurred the day before between the parties.
Sources within the institution indicate that the conflict is related to an inspection group on the issue of soils. According to them, Fatmir Meta has blocked the vehicles of entities that were dumping soils in the outskirts of Tirana.
After yesterday's debate, the day after, the situation deteriorated into physical violence with gunshots inside the institution's premises.
It is reported that Meta was hit by Çela and other people accompanying him, while the full circumstances of the incident still remain to be clarified.
After the serious incident, it is learned that Çela went to the office of IKMT Director Afrim Qendro, where he requested his resignation.
