A case of exploitation for prostitution has been discovered in Durrës, where two apartments rented in different areas of the city were suspected of being used for this illegal activity.
As a result, a 52-year-old woman from Armenia was arrested, suspected of being the organizer of the activity, while a 22-year-old woman from Peru and three Albanian citizens were criminally prosecuted for the criminal offense of prostitution.
The incident was recorded in the Volga area (neighborhood no. 1) and the Plazhit area (neighborhood no. 13). According to the investigation, the premises were adapted for prostitution and were used by foreign nationals.
During the checks, passports, sums of money, phone cards and notes were seized, which are being analyzed for the purpose of the investigation.
