It concerns the product "SALAME GALBANETTO G230 ca", with lot number L.264173 and expiration date October 23, 2026.

The NFA has called on consumers, if they have this product in their possession, not to consume it and return it to the point of sale where it was purchased.
The authority asks citizens to specifically check the lot number and expiration date, to verify whether the product they have at home is included in the food safety notification.
Conad Albania reacts
After the publication of the announcement by the AKU, Conad Albania also reacted, giving its version of the product and lot included in the alert.
In an official clarification published on September 9, the company says that it had received the notification for lot L.264173 on August 31, 2026.
According to Conad Albania, immediately after receiving the information, the affected product, a carton of 16 pieces, was identified and isolated before being placed on shelves for sale.
"This product was not sold at any Conad Albania point of sale and has not reached consumers," the company explains.
Conad Albania says that on September 8, after the publication of the announcement by the AKU, it conducted the relevant verifications and confirmed that the product had not been released on the market, had not been distributed, and had not been placed for sale in its points.
However, the company claims that this information resulting from the verification was not reflected in the NFA's public announcement.
The company also emphasizes its commitment to transparency, food safety and accurate consumer information, while declaring that it continues to cooperate with the competent authorities and Conad network partners.
Finally, Conad Albania asks the media that have published or distributed the news to correct the information it considers incorrect or incomplete and to reflect the above facts.
