Israel attacks oil facilities in Tehran and Lebanon, 4 dead in Beirut. Revolutionary Guard: We will resist up to 6 months of war

At least four people have been killed and 10 others injured in an Israeli attack on a hotel in central Beirut, Lebanon's Health Ministry said on Tuesday. Authorities said the attack targeted the Ramada hotel, and emergency teams and security forces were immediately mobilized to the scene.

An AFP photographer who approached the building after the explosion reported seeing one of the hotel rooms with broken windows and visible damage from the impact. The surrounding area was cordoned off by security forces as rescue teams worked to help the injured.

According to Reuters, this is the first such attack in the heart of the Lebanese capital since Israel resumed airstrikes against Hezbollah, the Iran-backed group. The attacks come at a time of high tension in the region, as Israel has intensified military operations against both Hezbollah in Lebanon and Iran, raising fears of a wider escalation of the conflict in the Middle East.

The Revolutionary Guard expressed confidence that the Iranian armed forces are capable of continuing the war against the US and Israel for "at least six months," adding that they have already struck more than 200 US and Israeli targets in the wider Middle East region.
