Kallas: US and Europe must stand united

EU Foreign Policy Chief Kaja Kallas said that the US continues to be Europe's greatest ally, even after the publication of the document by the Trump administration, which supports Europe's far right.

The US National Security Strategy, which was published by the administration of US President Donald Trump, also refers to the effects of migration and warns that some countries risk becoming non-European majorities and that Europe faces the real and grim prospect of the disappearance of civilization.

At the Doha Forum, Kallas, commenting on the 33-page document, reiterated the alliance between the US and Europe and emphasized that the document contains many criticisms, but that some of them are true.

She added that despite differences on various issues, the US and Europe must remain united.
