The United Arab Emirates has banned its citizens from traveling to Iran, Lebanon and Iraq, due to recent developments in the region.
In an official announcement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs called on all its citizens currently in these countries to leave as soon as possible and return to their homeland.
" In light of current developments, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announces a travel ban for UAE nationals to Iran, Lebanon and Iraq. The Ministry calls on all nationals present in these countries to expedite their immediate return to the UAE ," the statement said.
The decision comes at a time of heightened tensions in the Middle East, with the security situation escalating in some areas.
