Netanyahu: IDF is taking control of areas in Lebanon to protect the north

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the Israeli army was intensifying its military operation in Lebanon, increasing the presence of forces on the ground and taking control of several strategic areas.

Netanyahu said the army's actions are aimed at strengthening the security zone and protecting Israeli communities in the north of the country.

"We are intensifying our operation in Lebanon. The army is operating with large forces on the ground, taking control of areas to fortify the security zone and protect communities in the north," he said.

The Israeli prime minister also stressed that the government is focusing on developing new technologies to counter the threat of explosive drones.

"We are leading a massive national effort to promote creative and innovative solutions against explosive drones," Netanyahu declared.
