Clashes with Israel/ 24 people arrested in Iran on espionage charges

24 people accused of spying for Israel and trying to damage the country's image have been arrested by Iranian police.

" Twenty-four individuals who spied for the Zionist enemy offline and online, and who tried to disturb public opinion and tarnish and destroy the image of the sacred system of the Islamic Republic of Iran, have been arrested ," said West Tehran Police Commander Kiumars Azizi.

Meanwhile, Air Force fighter jets have just completed a wave of strikes in western Iran.

The strikes targeted Iranian surface-to-surface missile facilities and military personnel. An Israeli source said: “Two-thirds of the Iranian launchers were damaged,” Channel 12 reported, citing Reuters.
