Tensions in the protest over the Kocani tragedy, citizens throw eggs at the Municipality building!

The protest in Kočani, North Macedonia, has been accompanied by tensions and incidents.

Hundreds of citizens took to the streets of Kocani at noon to show their revolt and the insecurity they feel towards the state, following the tragedy in the nightclub where 59 young people lost their lives and 155 others were injured, due to a fire that broke out in the early hours of March 16th in the nightclub.

Alsat.mk reports that protesters have started throwing eggs at the Municipality building.

They demand that the authorities clarify the case and that those responsible be brought to justice and receive the deserved punishment.

Protesters hold banners with the inscription "We don't die from disasters, but we die from corruption."
