Russian attacks in Ukraine continue, 4 civilians killed in Kharkiv! Regional governor confirms losses from rocket shelling

Four civilians lost their lives as a result of Russian military attacks in the Kharkiv region, in northeastern Ukraine – an area that has been continuously targeted since the beginning of the Russian occupation in February 2022.
The regional governor, Oleg Sinyukhubov, confirmed that a 68-year-old man and a 61-year-old woman were killed by artillery fire in the town of Kupyansk, which is located very close to the front line. Meanwhile, in the village of Shevchenkove, about 30 kilometers from the front, a 77-year-old woman and a 52-year-old man were killed by multiple rocket shelling.
Following the attacks, the Regional Prosecutor's Office opened a war crimes investigation.
The violence came just a day after another major Russian attack on the city of Sumy – one of the deadliest in the three-year war – that killed at least 34 people and wounded more than 100. The latest attacks have deepened concerns about an escalating Russian offensive in northeastern Ukraine.
