Two days after the Hague ruling, former KLA fighters land in Durrës with messages of support and restraint

With flags, KLA symbols and "Freedom has a name", dozens of fighters of the Kosovo Liberation Army arrived this morning at the Port of Durres, two days after the decision of the Special Court in The Hague for the 4 former KLA leaders.
They arrived in Durrës at a time when the September 16 decision continues to cause reactions in Kosovo and Albania.
The former fighters, who have been in The Hague for days, had announced before their departure that they would travel to Albania in KLA uniforms to convey messages of support and restraint after this decision, hoping that the decision would be changed in the Appeals Court.
After arriving in Durrës, the commander of the Tetovo Mala, Ismail Selimi, spoke on behalf of the group about his experience of the process in The Hague, the decision given to the former KLA leaders, and the disappointment he and politics experienced.
