Great loss in the family of the socialist MP, chilling with the dedication to his wife: The mother of my children, my love left us today

Loer Kume, Socialist Party MP for Durrës and renowned prose writer and essayist, announced the passing of his wife this Friday afternoon. With a broken heart and immense pain over the loss of his life companion, Loer informs relatives and friends of Lorina's death.

"Lorina, Lori, Lorushi, my love since 18 years, more than my other half, my soulmate, my home, wife, girlfriend, friend, my teacher, my student, my compass, my flesh, my voice and words and eyes, everything great, the mother of our children, two miracles, today you left us alone.

"The three of us, the family, the people who knew her, touched her, listened to her, were enveloped by the energy and aura of Lori, Lorushi, we wanted her here to love us without limits and to illuminate us as she has done all her life. Fate willed it differently," writes the socialist MP.

Loer Kume says that he and Lorina met at the age of 18 and have been companions in life for two and a half decades. From their marriage, they have given birth to two children, who from today will forever feel the absence of their mother.

The Socialist MP from Durrës reveals that his wife was battling an illness, and despite staying strong in the face of it, unfortunately this Friday she closed her eyes forever.

"And in the war he showed himself to be the strongest man we have known and heard of. Today we have Lori's legacy behind us. The funeral will take place on Saturday, 19/09/2026.
