Edi Rama goes to the Holy Mount Athos, spends the night in the monastery where you pray for a "miracle" to happen

While the great protest of Albanians demanding his non-negotiable resignation is approaching 4 months, and the noose of SPAK investigations is tightening around him, Prime Minister Edi Rama seems to need a miracle from God.
He, along with his son Gregor Rama and the prefect of Vlora, Vangjel Tavo, traveled yesterday to Greece, to go to the Monastic State of Athos and the great holy monastery of Vatopedi, where it is believed that prayers can bring miracles.
According to Greek media, Edi Rama and his son spent the night in this monastery and only left this morning.
According to information and photos made public, the Prime Minister arrived early in the morning at the Port of Daphni and then met with the civil governor of the Holy Mountain, Alkiviadh Stefanis. He then headed to the Holy and Great Monastery of Vatopedi, where he was received by the abbot, Hieronymus Ephrem, and the monastery's brotherhood.
Local media report that the Albanian Prime Minister expressed his admiration for the monastery's architecture and paintings, adding that he is familiar with the Athonite Philokalia and the rich tradition of the Monastic State of Athos.
Mount Athos (Agion Oros – Holy Mountain) is located in northern Greece, on the Chalkidiki peninsula, on one of the three “fingers” that jut into the Aegean Sea. It is a territory of about 33 thousand hectares, with mountains, forests and a very rugged coastline.
One of the most well-known features is that women are not allowed to enter the territory of Athos, while for men, visits are possible only with special permission (diamonitirion) and with restrictions on the number of visitors, so the prime minister was without his wife Linda Rama and son Zaho. But on this trip he was accompanied by the mayor of Himara, Vangjel Tavo.
The Great Holy Monastery of Vatopedi (Vatopedi) is located on the northern coast of the Athos Peninsula, in a small bay of the Aegean Sea. Its territory extends over the central part of the northern coast of Athos. It is the second in the hierarchy of 20 monasteries of Athos, after the Great Monastery of Lavra. UNESCO estimates that 1,400 monks may live on Athos today.
The monastery where Edi Rama spent the night preserves several icons of the Theotokos that are considered “miracle-working” in the Orthodox tradition. Believers pray to them for help, healing, protection, and intercession.
