Why is Sali Berisha silent about the Çyrbja scandal?

The arrest of deputy Jurgis Çyrbja by SPAK has exposed one of the most critical points of Edi Rama's electoral machinery, proving the many accusations of the opposition over the years about the connection between politics and crime.

SPAK's investigations show that the socialist MP from Durrës served organized crime, receiving votes and political support in exchange.
The most serious aspect of this hot file is the positioning of Çyrbe in the winning part of the list, third in the 2021 elections, through the influence of bandits in the area. But if this exposes the connections of the SP deputy with the gangs, it does not leave out Edi Rama, who is the person who signed the lists of deputies as party leader. So, logic suggests that when it was negotiated to place Çyrben third on the winning list, the agreement was reached with Edi Rama.

The prime minister himself was a candidate in Durrës in those elections, and with the current electoral system, his mandate in those elections was won with the help of organized crime, which later, as the official prosecution's intercepts prove, was rewarded with information debunked by the deputy Čerbja and other characters within the sphere of power, who acted in the service of the gangs.

Under normal conditions, this scandal would be a significant bonus for the opposition, which has been fighting for years against the link between politics and crime, in particular for the impact of this link on elections. But the confirmation of their theses, now through an official file of SPAK, seems to have set in motion only Lulzim Basha, who has reacted continuously on this issue, and has even made it part of the talks of the official meetings that he has held for weeks the past in Berlin and London.

But what impresses at this moment is the silence of Sali Berisha, who does not hesitate to release unverified rumors on his social networks, while for the arrest of Çyrbe, which proves the theft of the elections and the connections of the SP with crime, the former prime minister kept his mouth shut.

It is not yet clear why Sali Berisha is silent, perhaps because for three years he accused Basha of losing the elections, while files like this one of Çyrbe show that they have been alienated from Rama.
Or because the investigation and arrest that caused a part of the 2021 election massacre was revealed by SPAK, which Berisha unfairly calls SKAP, after placing it under investigation.

However, this silence day by day turns into an accusation against Sali Berisha himself, because it seems that he ignites and extinguishes civil disobedience according to personal goals that dictate the investigations he is under, not the interest of the opposition.

After joining the votes with Rama to realize the amnesty of the subjects of SPAK and GJKKO, as well as joining the votes to close the lists, closing any possibility for an electoral reform, Sali Berisha is exposing himself more and more as a shareholder of the power of Edi Ramës, not as the leader of an opposition action.
