The May 11 elections are more than just an electoral process; they are a historic opportunity to change the course of the country and break a worn-out political cycle. Albanians do not want to choose between the old and the worn-out, but seek a new path, a clear vision, and a new opportunity forward.
The Euro-Atlantic Coalition represents precisely this new vision, offering an alternative free from compromises with the past. This coalition has not made a pact with the past and is not part of the rotten transition system. Albanians cannot expect change from those who are hostage to their interests, but from those who have the vision and courage to move the country forward.
One of the most important innovations of this campaign is the possibility of open lists, which means trusting the citizens and their power to choose the right representatives. There are no more names served up by party leaders; now the citizens are the real decision-makers. This step marks a historic change, ending the monopoly of closed lists and creating a new political culture based on transparency and accountability.
This dignified group brings into politics doctors, professors, economists, intellectuals and professionals who have built their lives with honesty and dedication. These individuals are not servile or party soldiers, but citizens who want to represent the interests of the people and work for a better Albania. With this team, which has historians, writers, academics and various specialists represented, real change becomes possible.
The time of impunity is coming to an end. Citizens will not remain silent, and justice will not be stopped. Electoral crimes, corruption and abuse of power are coming to light and there will be those responsible, so an independent justice system, free from influence and without compromise with evil, would only sever the ties between politics and corruption, transforming this country into a livable one and politics at the service of citizens and not of the corrupt.
Unlike the usual campaigns of fear and manipulation, the Euro-Atlantic Coalition campaign is based on hope and vision, because this group of free people does not have behind them the gangs of transition or the oligarchs, but citizens who want real change. For the first time, Albanians have the opportunity to choose something different, an honest and transparent politics that works for them and with them.
The May 11 elections are an opportunity not to be missed. To stop the recycling of the past and to break the cycle of transition failures, citizens must consciously choose and support real change. The choice is in their hands.
