People with disabilities in the city of Lezha protested in front of the Albanian Post branch after not receiving the year-end bonus granted by the government.
Since the early hours of the morning, protesters gathered in front of the Post Office premises, demanding the receipt of the promised payment.
They say they are in great economic difficulties and the lack of this reward makes it impossible for them to afford the expenses for the end-of-year holidays.
For their part, representatives of the Albanian Post branch announced that the funds for the rewards have not yet been disbursed by the State Treasury.
They ensure that payments will be made immediately as soon as the funds become available to the Post Office.
The protesters demand that the payment be made as soon as possible, to enable a more peaceful and dignified end to the year for them.
