"Not just street talk"/ Rama: We fought for years to lift the blockade, Corridor 8 enters the European transport network

Prime Minister Edi Rama announced during a press conference that Corridor 8, a major infrastructure project, has been officially included in the European transport network.

This development was made possible after the lifting of a blockade that had lasted for years, a process that, according to Rama, required a lot of effort from the Albanian government.

Rama added that the project is not just a symbolic issue, but has a direct impact on the country's economic development, security and competitive capacities.

He criticized public voices who do not understand the importance of the project, calling them "ignorants shouting in the streets of the media bazaar" and their arguments as "street talk."

According to Rama, Corridor 8 is the space where Albania, which comes from great poverty, can connect to European markets and the economy, participating in a "house that possesses great wealth."
