NAMES/ "Balluku" file, SPAK names 5 businessmen as defendants

As part of the investigation into the case of former Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku, SPAK has also named five well-known businessmen from the construction sector as defendants.

We are talking about Pandeli Carapuli, Arbër Abazi, Ram Geci, Paqsor Buzi and Artan Sako.

According to the data, the five entrepreneurs are included in the investigative file related to suspicions of manipulation of tender procedures and irregular benefits from public contracts.

Arbër Abazi and Artan Sako are linked to the tender for Lot 7 of the Tirana Ring Road, while Paqsor Buzi is linked to the tender for Lot 5. Ram Geci is involved in the investigations for the construction of the Porto Romano-Durrës road, Lot 3.

Meanwhile, Pandeli Carapuli has been charged with money laundering in connection with the villa in the "White Rocks" tourist complex in Dhërmi.

SPAK's investigations focus on nine tender procedures, as well as suspicions of corruption and money laundering.
